Established in 2013, MVAA Lacrosse has grown from 40 to 200 boys and girls between 1st and 8th Grade. With a dedicated and enthusiastic group of Coaches and Volunteers guiding them, the players have a safe and fun environment to learn and thrive in an exciting engaging sport.
Since 2017 MVAA Lacrosse has partnered with the NLL’s Georgia Swarm franchise to enhance our program with clinics and game tickets as part of our offering. In 2018 our first MVAA Swarm Night Tailgate was quite the gathering having most of our players and their families enjoy a great time before watching our partners play this wonderful game.
Since inception MVAA Lacrosse has captured numerous Gwinnett Lacrosse League Division Titles and been competitive in Newtown Rec’s Fall Lacrosse program. Since 2014 MVAA has had the distinction of have at least 1 team representing MVAA on Championship Saturday for the last 8 seasons. This is a feat seldom accomplished and is a testament to the hard work and effort everyone puts into the program. Come check us out at Rabbit Hill Park, 401 Rabbit Hill Road, Dacula, GA 30019. Your children won’t be disappointed.
2014 GLL Champions
Who are these upstarts? As a second-year program in the GLL and they made the Championship? Not 1 but 2 teams you say?
Wow, that is pretty impressive in and of itself.
But wait there is more.
Presenting the 2014 GLL Junior Champion MVAA Bears AND the 2014 GLL Senior Champion MVAA Bears.
Bears opened the morning with winning the Junior Title in sizzling fashion on a FOGO goal with 1.6 seconds remaining. Then in the nightcap of the day Bears showed their grit and determination in very physical very intense battle and sealed the deal. What a day in MVAA Lax history.
